Andy Wickstrand
Andy Wickstrand is our Development Director. Andy was born and raised in Seattle and is a proud graduate of the University of Washington.
He and his wife Jodi Broughton have called Bellingham home since 2000. They met in 1999 while working on Northwest Ecosystem Alliance's $16.5 million (in just 12 months!) Loomis State Forest Capital Campaign.
Andy has a long history on Orcas Island and has served The San Juan Preservation Trust as a member of the board and a Land Counselor since 1998.
When Andy and Jodi are not busy making their historic 107-year-old house evermore their home they can be found paddling island waters and hiking up or skiing down the slopes of the North Cascades.
As one who cherishes his own boyhood summer camp experience Andy considers his position a dream job.

Gerry Santillian
Gerry is going for the record of most year-round positions held at Four Winds * Westward Ho. Arriving first into camp as the mate aboard Carlyn, Gerry swallowed the anchor and decided to stay year round first as a maintenance assistant, then as our gardener and groundskeeper, and now as the skipper aboard Carlyn. A native of California and a graduate of Humboldt State, Gerry loves this ecosystem where the evergreens meet the sea. You can often find Gerry near the shore collecting driftwood with Joe, off on some boating adventure, bicycling around the island, or trying to complete yet another 1000 piece puzzle.

Kate Petrick
Kate Petrick comes to us from Wisconsin where she first began to cultivate
her love of gardening. Her goals for the camp are varied and many but what
has become central to her mission is to create and environment that
encourages a love of the outdoors, and the safety of the campers as they
enjoy a summer of growth, new friends and memories that will last a
lifetime. In her spare time, she too loves to collect driftwood with Joe.
